Podere Ricciolino is located in a green and flat area of the Etruscan riviera, among Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci and Donoratico. From here it’s possible to enjoy an amazing view over the town of Castagneto, Segalari’s Castle and the fortified town of Castiglioncello.
Podere Ricciolino is surrounded by fields, olive trees and above all magnificent vineyards, whose wine makes the area of Bolgheri famous all over the world.
The structure, accessible through a private avenue of cypresses, is dated at the beginning of 900 and it’s just been restructured in order to respect the rural and Tuscan style.
It consists of three spacious apartments (one of them accessible for disabled guests), they’re furnished in a simple but practical and comfortable way.
The agritourism is fringed by a wide park where, enjoying the shade of high trees and citrus plants, you will relax totally and rediscover sounds, perfumes and tastes of the past.
Your pets are very well welcomed in our structure.
For kids, at a distance of a few kilometers, you can find the amusement park “Cavallino Matto”, the wildlife park “Gallorose* and the acqua park “Aquavillage” located in Cecina.
During your staying you can also take advantage of a private access to one of the best beaches of the coast. This shore, called Villa Emilia, is only 7 kilometers far and faces the limpid sea of Castagneto Carducci, awarded from a long time of the Blue flag.
You will enjoy long walking in the ancient towns of Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri following a food-and-wine trail and the streets that the famous Italian poet Giosue Carducci loved very much in his life.
Only 15 minutes far, in Venturina, you will find the Calidarium an ancient thermal source discovered in the Etruscan age, that has been recently improved with a spa and a very nice terrace and restaurant. It’s a really relaxing place.
